Black Hole Marsh still quite active with birdlife

I popped over to Black Hole Marsh after work and birds of note were 4 Ruff. Some of the small waders have also found their way onto the reserve again with a small group of Dunlin present; numbers are likely to increase soon as the tides are going to be pretty high for the next week or so. It was also nice to see some rather smart Teal and a lovely Kestrel this evening:

One of the Ruff

Teal looking rather striking
And a lot of pics of the Kestrel which was showy but the pics are a bit noisy due to low light and damp air:

Mmmm yes my claws still look lovely :)
